It's January 2023, and leading presidential candidates are intensifying their campaigns to win the keys to Aso Rock. As their campaign trains traverse every nook and cranny of Nigeria, these candidates are cracking Nigerians up with their gaffes. Gaffe is defined is an unintentional act or remark causing embarrassment to its originator. It's a blunder. In politics, a gaffe is considered a public statement blunder which a politician believes it's true. A gaffe could affect the acceptability of a politician. Even if it's doubtful it couldn't the fortunes of politicians in Nigeria, shouldn't Nigerians be concerned about numerous gaffes made by leading presidential candidates?
